P24 looking for a project officer

Platform for Independent Journalism (P24) is looking for a project officer to support its trial monitoring and project management work. The project officer will be a part of the Expression Interrupted team, which has been working for the promotion and protection of media freedom and freedom of expression in Turkey since 2017. 
 
Candidates for this position are expected to have following requirements:
 
Excellent command of both Turkish and English
Excellent reporting, editing and translation skills 
Previous work experience in journalism or relevant civil society organizations
Strong interest and familiarity with the freedom of expression and the media issues 
Strong communication skills
 
The position will include the following tasks:
 
Website management through writing and editing news reports, editing articles by guest contributors
Overseeing the trial monitoring work in coordination with the court reporter and commissioned reporters 
Assisting in preparation of quarterly reports 
Assisting in administrative tasks, including preparation of project progress reports 
Management of social media accounts 
Organizing online and face-to-face events
